JeffeTico Tours is a small business in Mays Landing, New Jersey that offers online classes in Spanish, customized tours of Costa Rica and virtual tours of your business on Google Maps using 360 degree photography. Recently, JeffeTico Tours has managed an AirBnB in Costa Rica called Villa Tiquicia. Come visit!

   JeffeTico Tours is owned and operated by, me, Jeff Forney. I grew up in rural US in an area with a lot of migrant workers. My natural interest in people and languages started me on the road to learning Spanish from my Mexican neighbors.

   I studied Spanish Education in college and did my student teaching in Quito, Ecuador at the Colegio Americano de Quito. I began my Master's Degree in Spanish at the Universidad de Costa Rica while living with a Costa Rican family. Thus was born my love of Costa Rica.

   For 32 years, I taught Spanish at Oakcrest High School, Stockton University and to adults at the Ocean City Free Public Library in New Jersey. See my resumé.

   JeffeTico Tours began as a hobby. One year, I offered to pick up some of my library students at the San José airport and show them around Costa Rica. We had such a good time, I decided to retire from teaching and make this my main job. Hey, somebody has to do it!
